Mr. Ander Pineda, teacher from Colegio Circulo Infantil of Pestalozzi described some of the learning that his students were acquiring through the project: "When we approached the beach, girls and boys observed physical changes in the beach, they noticed a change in the size of the sand bar. Based on their measurements they were able to verify an increase in beach erosion during the period May to September 2014. These observations left me surprised and happy". Meanwhile, Lic. Belgica Paredes, teacher at Collegio Santa Teresita, said that "The field trip represents an enriching experience that makes the students better world citizens".
