Contact Us

Sandwatch is a volunteer network of children, youth and adults working together to enhance their beach environment and build resilience to climate change. Since its beginning in 2001, the network has grown to include more than 50 member countries with hundreds of schools and community groups actively monitoring change in their beach environments.

Sandwatch is coordinated by the non-profit Sandwatch Foundation, operated by two volunteer directors who have run the program to date and assisted by a temporary communications advisor. The program relies on the input of volunteer teachers and associates around the world.

Sandwatch has received support for activities over the years from organisations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization and the University of Puerto Rico Sea Grant College Program and the Government of Denmark.
